STUDENT PARKING RULES
All student vehicles must have a current parking sticker on their vehicle.
Please display your parking permit on the lower driver side portion of your windshield. The permit number must be clearly visible and unobstructed.
Parking permits are valid for one calendar school year starting in fall quarter (September).
Student Parking Rules are enforced from 7 A.M. to 4 P.M. weekdays.
Student parking is at the Far East and West ends of the campus.
24/7 no parking in disabled parking spaces without an official placard. The actual placard must be from the Department of Licensing.
24/7 no parking in Fire Lanes
24/7 do not park in any spot that is not specifically designated for parking
24/7 no parking at Electric Charging Stations if you don’t drive an electric vehicle
Parking fines range from $10-$75.
Before 4 P.M. students may not park in visitor’s parking- even if they don’t have class that day.
Carpool parking permit is needed to park in carpool parking spaces. Each vehicle must have two or more passengers on board upon arrival at the college.
Speed limit for everyone on campus is ten miles per hour.
All vehicles are parked on college property at the owner’s risk. Skagit Valley College assumes no liability for theft or damage to vehicles while parked on college property. All valuables should be removed or stored out of sight.
You will not be able to register, request transcripts or make schedule changes if you have outstanding fines.
